I planned to have a garage sale in a few weeks time just to dispose of some of the unused things and at the same time de-clutter my house. Tell you, I couldn't’t imagine I have “built up” some many things over the past 3 years here. Just wanted to get rid of some stuffs and have more storing space. Besides, it is much easier to clean and tidy up the house when less thing you have.
I remembered I had a garage sale many years back in Cambodia when I moved house. Response was good especially from those “mat salleh” because they just like things like rattan, mahogany and teak wood furniture. I remembered people started calling and coming in as early as 7am+. Luckily we had a guard last time and I was not afraid that strangers coming in for other purposes.
