A Relax Morning

This is a back-dated post. I woke up late today and so, there is a bit "kelam-kabut " this morning. Luckily the boy didn't wake up early, so, manage to get my girl ready for school in a "peaceful" manner.

I am enjoying a good time sitting infront of my laptop now and sipping a cup of my mid morning coffee...wow! so goooooood! Quite relax this morning as the boy woke up at 8am just now for a bottle of milk and continue to his la la land until now. I have cooked their lunch with simple mixed vegetable soup and steam minced meat with eggs. The kids love soup so much that I have to make sure there is always a bowl of soup that go with their meal if they are having rice.

Today is Thursday, so, it is going to be a easy-to-prepare dinner day! Will be frying some pasta for dinner tonight. Preparation have been done and just need to put in everything and cook, that's it!

Here's the pix taken before our meal time. I have cooked red bean soup as dessert. My hubby likes "hong tau tong sui" very much!

Maid Has Gone

This a a back-dated post. I have been extremely busy since last Saturday. My Indonesian maid has gone back as her two-year contract expires. I am glad that things are going quite smoothly without maid. I'm planning to get a part timer to come and clean my house 3 times a week especially helping in doing the "heavy duty" chores (cleaning toilets, wiping windows etc). It is pretty easy to get a part time Filipino or Indonesian helper as lots of agencies here do provide this services.

One thing which I am not so used to is I got to get up quite early !( one of my weaknesses). Get things done in the kitchen and prepare the milk and get ready my girl for preschool. After that, just do some laundry and then clean and tidy up the house.

See how things going for the next few days!

Agar-Agar (Jelly) Easter Egg

Tomorrow is Good Friday and it is the Public Holiday in the state of Sarawak.

My girl’s pre-school is celebrating Good Friday a day earlier. I had the idea last week that making some colourful agar-agar Easter egg for her to bring it school. Therefore, my maid and I have been collecting empty egg shell for this "project".

I didn't manage to make the colourful type but instead, making the gula melaka and pandan agar-agar mixed with egg and coconut milk. I had also made an extra tray for the teachers as well.

Guess what! Her school teachers take the agar-agar eggs to add to their "Easter basket". It makes a perfect match.

Start of a Journal

I have been wanting to create a blog for such a long time. Reading other bloggers' blog has become one of my hobbies. This blog is created to note down the journey of my little family, especially dedicated to my two loving kids.

Happy 3rd Birthday Sweetie!

This is a backdated post. My sweetie celebrated her 3rd birthday on 3rd April. Still remembered the moment Dr. Tan brought her to me when I was in the OT 3 years ago @3.38am. Million thanks to Dr. Tan Chee Khoon for all the help given to me!

Time flies and still couldn't imagine how did I spent those bedridden days in Cambodia without a good gynae's observation. Remembered during that time, I was just praying that I could be able to past the 28 weeks at least.

We didn't have any big celebration this year. She wanted a Little Enstein birthday cake to be brought to her pre-school.

She wanted to wear a pretty dress (instead of school uniform) on that day. I have made some agar-agar for her (as she has been singing the “Rainbow” song that she learnt recently). Thanks to the recipe from My Kitchen Snippets.

Share with you some of the photos taken during their break time.
